Take-Out Thai

I have created a monster! Ever since I took my friend Chris out for Thai food on his birthday, I’ve been HOOKED! Yes, I ordered Thai in tonight, again. New Haven has a TON of Thai restaurants and I’m on a mission to try them all. Tonight I ordered from Thai Pan Asian. It’s pretty darn good!
We ordered a couple dishes to share- cashew vegetable and tofu, vegan pad thai, spring rolls, and tofu triangles. I liked it all, except for the tofu triangles. I think it was because they got a bit soggy from the delivery. Either way, I very much enjoyed this meal.
Back in the afternoon, I had a lot of free time. I decided to roast a squash in preparation for butternut squash soup. I actually didn’t get past the cubed on the squash before I didn’t feel like making soup anymore. Oops! At least now I have two totally prepared squash.
One more before I go veg out to Dancing With The Stars..

I’m interested in trying Thai Sweet Jasmine (is that the name?!) at the end of Dwight St. I think it’s related to the cart, which has an excellent reputation.
Oh yes, I’ve seen that place! I’d like to try it some day as well.

I’ve gone through periods too where I’m obsessed with Thai food. It used to drive my mom nuts because I’d try to make her eat it every night for dinner, lol.
And here I haven’t ordered Thai in years! Thanks for reminding me that there’s more deliciousness out there, I’ll have to see if any local restuarant have vegan options here.
